04 · Care guide
Keep the shine, for years.
Chrome needs very little care. A few simple habits keep your GREAT fittings looking as good as the day they were installed.
Do
- Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild soap.
- Dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots in hard-water areas.
- Clean aerators periodically to keep the flow smooth.
- Operate handles gently; there is no need to over-tighten.
Don't
- Use abrasive pads, scouring powders or wire brushes.
- Use acid-based, bleach or ammonia cleaners on chrome.
- Let harsh toilet or tile cleaners rest on the fittings.
- Use the spout or handle as a grab support.
